An overpriced suburban dumpster fire with pretentious rich snobs, spoiled brats with mental baggage and drug problems based on pure boredom who think they're tough but are just cause problems to impress the bar skanks and would be pornstars of tommorow, the wealthier communities oddly enough have the most potholes you have to dodge like bullets, and alot of people who aren't fortunate enough to have a fortune often enough work two jobs to barely get by. Shaming language, hypergamy, greed, and people full of the kind of delusional thinking that the world revolving around them because very sadly it kinda does. I constantly hear about the friggin hamptons but only ever saw it maybe twice in my life. Trust me, the only thing you might miss out on is overpriced farmland along with asshole tourists traveling there to see the sites out of pure vanity and envy. Anyone who defends l.i. clearly had it good enough to not care about seeing the other side of the tracks. I personally encourage everyone to trash talk long island and it's consistently drunk self absorbed inhabitants to knock these over fed overly prosperous pricks down a couple of pegs because it's long, long, overdue. That being said there are also good people who are financially trapped here as well.
