I was trying to be funny
it might be good for you, and it might not. the nonsense they tell you about college grads earning more is true from a statistical perspective, but remember that it counts all the doctors, lawyers, corporate execs, and other shit that you don't necessarily get to be with a b.a. from state U as college grads while counting everyone who committed a felony or had some illegitimate children and couldn't go or who was too stupid or lazy to get into even open admission policy schools as not college grads. you are not a statistic, and your opportunities for earning will be determined by many factors other than graduating college. also, you are likely to be subjected to an extended period of ideological indoctrination at a school which will willfully violate your basic constitutional rights without a thought. in exchange for this, you give up not only the cost of attendance, but also the potential earnings you would have had from pursuing employment immediately. these are all factors you should weigh carefully. as a MGTOW, I encourage young men to get out of their parents' home and living alone as independent, gainfully employed adults as soon as possible. the psychological benefits of this are immeasurable, and you never know when the economy will shit the bed and treat you badly for not being out of school yet.

if you can find work that will pay all your expenses, allow you to save something, and that you like, you're better off than a lot of people. electrical work is good work if that's your thing. I did a different skilled trade and have electrocuted myself enough times to know I'm just never gonna be that guy, but I could go back to my trade today and be perfectly happy.

the problem with going into college is you have to choose to start investing your time in a field you don't know if you'll like. I can't tell you what to do, but I would advise thinking a lot about what you like and don't like about electrical work. and also come up with some other potential fields that interest you, figure out what the employment prospects in them look like, and consider whether it's possible to get low level employment related to those fields prior to investing years and a bunch of money.
