The comparison is unfair on so many levels.

First of all, modern combat soldiers exist and look manly and menacing. You can always enlist, deploy and become a badass too!

Then, try looking up XVII-XVIII century fashion, for example. Even military fashion. Wigs, laces, plumes, embroidery, hair powder, cosmetics for men... I actually miss the flamboyance of the men's dress of these times. Modern suits look bland in comparison.

Also many of those on the left were brainwashed or coerced to fight for cause that perhaps wasn't in their best interest. It's not a fate to dream about.

USA sent many good men to war to be killed to profit from. Looks like their wives had fun while they were gone. Modern military now is the biggest joke. A warning to all of you. Never join. You will see arrogent 21 year old lieutenants bossing around 40 year old chiefs. The military also heavily caters towards women, offering them more benefits, greater clothing allowance, easier pt tests, a culture that allows them to switch bases for a false sexual assault claim. There are often thousands of sexual assault claims in a year for bases that only house a few thousand people. It is the pinnacle of cuck culture. Men being encouraged to marry women and get whipped and cheated on while they're deployed.
