I could have written your story myself. Look buddy, you have nothing to be guilty about because you have not lied to her about anything. You owe her absolutely nothing but you owe this "pursuit of happiness" to yourself. So if I were you, I'd cut her off ASAP but would try to make it her idea. Start with being physically unavailable, noncommittal and "emotionally" aloof. Don't spend a single penny on her either. Sooner or later she'll end it herself. My two cents.

I can absolutely relate, I had a gf that was very similiar to yours , one day I realized that 95% of time I'd rather be playing games than sit there with her.

My girlfriend is a huge drain on me as well.

She talks about the same topics again and again, and they are mostly negative. She also goes through periods of calling me constantly and they are a massive waste of time.

It is an irony. I waited ages for a proper long-term relationship and when I get one, I don't want to be in one.

Same story. I got in a relationship in August 2016 (big mistake). I felt tired and exhausted all the time. She was cribbing about her job, health, life all the time. (Most women are like this these days.)

You don't realise but it does take a toll on you. You also get drained with all the negativity, but as a man you only blame yourself and feel guilty and inadequate.

I dumped her in February and things have looked up ever since. I have become more and more cheerful in my outlook and colour has returned to my face. Only removing one person from my life did all of this, so i attributed past symptoms to her and then everything made sense.

If a female likes you her "end game" is always marriage. That is what she is working and guiding you towards. It is her security blanket...not yours. You are a means to an end for her and probably one of many in her life time. I know you want to believe what she says and she wants you to believe it. But the reality is what she is projecting is only true for 1 in 20 men and she never loses anything in the deal. Be nice. But have a cold/black/selfish heart if your going to be involved with women. Your young and your on this site. That is a good first start.

That was my ex when I tried to discuss anything that wasn't directly related to her bio-chem degree. It made me cringe hard each time, but it took me months after the breakup to admit that she just had no idea about almost anything.

Just dump her man. Casual dating is fine if that's what you're into, but if this woman is pushing this hard for marriage then I wouldn't be shocked if she tried to trap you by "accidentally" getting knocked up. Cut her off and save your time and money.

can relate 100%. i had girlfriends that literally got turned on when i told them straight that i wont marry them and basically just fuck them for fun and i am nice because i tell them straight. they try to stick around even harder until i have to dump them because clearly they are trying to transform that relationship into a marriage somehow. no clue whats going on in their peanut brain. how they can believe that they can transform a man 100% adamant on being unmarried. i must have seriously tapped into "bad boy" territory there and that made them tingle. disgusting
