Nacho was always childish. I remember when I first found the site he would put insulting titles below the names of banned users. He would also frequently close topics if he found people disagreeing with him. Avoid him though and there were plenty of others that you could have good discussions with. Some of them had a hell of a sense of humor too. I LMAO on more than one occasion on that site.

At the end though, it's become perfectly clear that he was the one who never understood what it was to be a MGTOW. He let himself get involved in an imaginary feud with Paul Elam. For the past few days he just wouldn't stop posting about the differences in traffic to their sites and his hate about the MRM supporters. Nobody else gave a damn about it though and we all just kept up with the normal hustle and bustle of visiting the site. It closing down really came out of nowhere to me.

Nacho, just another loser that was striving for some pseudo political power. I guess as far as he was concerned men could only go their own way if it was his way.

I do hope this is all some sort of hacker's joke and Nacho will get the site back up and put out a message saying that we were all deceived. I'm not holding out for that though because that "Farewell letter" reeked of him. So if it was a hacker they had him down to a T and my words here are misplaced. Otherwise, I'll continue to go my own way. It's just a shame how many others might not see the light now because of all those stories being lost.

Nacho pros:

Built and ran the best, most trafficked MGTOW forum
No trolls
Put lots of hours of work into moderating site, and paid for the servers

Nacho cons:

The carpet bombing of bans kept out trolls, but also alienated people and created an atmosphere where people were walking on eggshells all the time.
Nacho seemed to have an aggressive, confrontational, expletive fueled way of talking to people

He was the hero we needed, not the hero we wanted. But I think it's better for MGTOW long term if our main forum isn't run by someone who comes off as a madman sometimes.

For some "leaders" it isn't about the movement and spreading the message. It is about personal aggrandizement.

The thing is that the OW part of the MGTOW means there really isn't all that much reason for "true" MGTOW's to post to forums (most are busy with their own stuff -- it's generally only the transitional people who get all passionate {and not surprisingly bring lots of baggage they haven't let go of yet}).

I mean there is no specific "way" for MGTOW... everyone chooses their own path.

His bitterness seems to be that he wanted to be able to turn it into a "thing" -- if not a movement, then at least some type of corral where he could somehow make some skim or profit -- and that not only was it not working out that way, but the site became filled with overflow of other nonsense.

And yeah, I do kind of see the same kind of thing probably happening here.

Not that I think it really matters in the long run.

Whoah. Now Hotloader's threatening message to Nacho is up on display on MGTOW Forums. In fact, it seems to be the only thing you can view. I'm guessing Nacho put it up there to show how crazy Hotloader is. Man, this is too much drama. Both of these guys are too much if you ask me.

Most of all, I miss the forums. Too bad they were run by such an unstable and immature guy.

Wow. Long time lurker at MGTOW Forums here. I had always hoped to someday become a member, but now it's looking like that won't come to pass. I think I will wait to see how this plays out before I decide where to register. At the moment MGTOW Forums appears to be back online in some sort of capacity or another, and Jagr's new forum appears to be intended as only a temporary solution.

If Nacho does decide to completely reinstate the forum, it would be interesting to see whether or not it can recover from this. Nacho has made a lot of enemies out of old friends this time, and a lot of folks are finally saying what they really think of him over at Jagr's forum. If Nacho reads any of those posts, I doubt he will be willing to let them back in, knowing the kind of guy he is.

i been mgtow going on 20 years, and only found mgtow forums a few days ago, now its gone, ha! No worries, I don't need any forum to be what I am.

nacho says that RP alpha/beta "killed" MGTOW forum? i call BS.

whats wrong with MGTOW + RP? to me they are like milk and cookies, each fine in its own right yet better together.

Not all MGTOW have sworn off or hate woman. As others have said, RP PUA/gamers are basically MGTOW by default, its just that MGTOW while RP by default, are not necessarily PUA/gamers.

heh, I just saw the goals on the right side, #1 is Limited government, I am all for that and less!

I would only say that there is a distinct difference between government and State.

I can tolerate and accept some very limited (local) government, it is the State that is the perversion and needs to be done away with.

That's the subject of a whole nother thread or even sub-reddit
