I was sober for 17 days, but this past saturday decided to fucking get some beers with some vidya games. I kind of feel like I haven't lived the sober life long enough to feel the benefits. I am used to drinking once a week. I exercise and eat as healthy as possible, but something in my gut has been telling me to ditch the booze permanently.

Anyone else experience this?

I stopped drinking mon-fri, best decision I ever made. I used to drink every day. Not a ton, 2-4 drinks daily. My sleep is so much better, my skin looks better, my mind is clearer. I could see in a few months giving it up completely.

I battle depression so I need to constantly focus on improving my mood and mental health with diet, exercise, meditation, yoga. I think once men in general stop self-medicating with booze and drugs, and catch up to women in regards to self-care, it will usher in a great era for men, their health and independence from women.

Let's face it, most men stay with their female partners out of fear of being alone (depressed low-self-esteem), financial implications of divorce, and "duty" instilled on them by a gynocentric society, and not because of love or any real affinity for the nasty shrew sharing his bed.
