I read that article. If you read the end of the article. It basically says only rich millennials are getting married. The poor millennials are not getting married. They are just living together. Basically, if you want to get married. You have to have money.

It appears to be another misrepresentation of the facts. Because less men are getting married, therefore less marriages, ergo less divorce.

Also, average span of a marriage remains the same, so - as others in this comment section are stating - give it ~7-10 years. We'll see a bump in the divorce rates.

So it's because less people are getting married and the ones that do are the ones that can afford it. So marriage is a sign of wealth.

Not sure these are positive developments. Also, grey divorce is skyrocketing, so there's no assurance that these couples won't get divorced in their 60's or 70's. If they get married later, they'll most likely divorce later, as a generation, IMO.
