“My own money.”

Friend and I ran into a group of single moms and we all started talking. (Don’t worry - neither one of us wanted a thing to do with them. We know better.) One of them kept going on and on about the car she bought herself with “her own money.” Over and over (she was drunk) it was about how she bought it herself and it’s her car bought with her own money.

The only people I know that say “my own money” are women and children. Have any of you adult men ever told someone you bought your car with your own money? Once you’re an adult, isn’t that sort of presumed?

The more I observe (rather than trying to fuck) women, the more similarities I see between them and children. Interesting.
