b) My advice is not so much for you, but for other people, so keep that in mind. Son, you fucked up. You invested way to much in this chick. You joined families, you joined friend groups, and you fucked up.

Never share that shit. The less family knows the better, the less she knows your family the better. Family pushes pressure on everyone, to maximize misery for everyone.

Sharing friend groups is incredibly stupid, you lived in a fantasy world where everything should be mixed together, and you see how well that works out.

As "advice" just start ghosting on a slow burn. Start with something simple, not responding to a text message for 5 minutes. Then 15. Then an hour. Then a day.

See her less and less, and let time lapses come in. She'll get the hint.

Alternately, just break off cold and clean and accept the fate.

Alternately, move away.

Alternately fake your death.

You could just have a conversation with her, and you both align to break up, but the chances of that working out are 50/50.

In the future, do not fucking tell women shit, at all, nor mesh them with friend groups or family until the wedding day.

1) Book 2-3 weeks vacation from work

2) Tell female that you have lost your job on the last day of work before the vacation starts

3) Tell her that "We will need to make sacrifices, but with you picking up extra work, we should be ok..." and then start spending the day lounging around the house.

Im in the same situation. I'm three years deep into a relationship I want no part of.

We live together too.

I was so much happier before. I blame my father for convincing me that allowing a girl to be my roommate would be fine.

I honestly feel I fucked up big time.

Im so pathetic I even call her my best friend. Sometimes I disgust myself. :/

I've considered asking my parents if I can move back in.

I literally have no friends anymore because this relationship took everything out of me.

So what's going on? You've been with her 3 years and feel nothing? Does she have good looks but is incredibly stupid? Have you tried opening up more about personal stuff and seeing how she responds? Either she will step up and show she's worth staying with or she will see you as weak and vulnerable and maybe leave. Either way it sounds like win/win.

I get worrying about mutual friends and family. You will have to figure out who is closer to you than her. She is going to no doubt shit-talk you and make you seem like a bad guy to a certain set of people. There is going to be attrition for sure. You just need to find the people that actually care about you and tell them your side.

I was in your shoes once. You should plan your exit and dump her directly. I spent about a year treating the girl like shit so that she wouldn't have a conniption fit when I initiated the breakup (the two or three times prior she had a frickin meltdown).

Just make it quick. Like a band-aid. Trust me, you don't want to deal with her drama. End it, change your phone number, and move somewhere else.
