Beats me. I have no idea why nofap is a thing, fapping is a fun, "well I got all day" activity.

Nofap seems like some sort of quasi religious trad con anti-sex crusade that makes no sense to me personally, but to each their own. It's primary goal seems to be saving yourself for a woman, which isn't very mgtow to me.
