I think it’s because most of us have had a similar thought.... my version was that there are so many people I wonder if animals have been incarnating as humans..... seems like a lot of people tend toward animalistic behaviour.... even different types of animal to- some roam in packs some tend toward sloth.
Not saying I truly believe that but it’s a thought I had and it’s similar to the npc

I object to this. Here is an otter who is obviously creative, has volition and at least vaguely understands communication and what makes it effective. This otter knows that two soulful beings can communicate if at least one of them gets it right. Not an NPC:

I don't know how NPC I am, but not so much that I don't deny my nature. If the meme offends you, then good news, you have just become aware of your sheep status. If you find it amusing, you're aware of the sleepwalking towards death most of us are doing for the majority of our existence.

NPC being a gaming term for: Non Player Character.
In other words the shopkeeper or merchants, inkeeper ect. in most rpg's
This is a multi level derogitory term that people are now trying to apply to SJW's because basically much like actual NPC's SJW's are only capable of spewing out the same tired set of lines over and over and over, much like a scripted NPC they are incapable of going outside of their programing.
Its other meaning basically is people who do not think for themselves there is a study that shows some people do not have any inner monologue at all, these people may have no free thoughts of their own and are literally "programed" by the MSM.

Not exactly. The NPC meme can be applied to MGTOW and our detractors who spew out their canned lines about relationships and marriage ("Not all women are like that!" "Who hurt you?" "Work hard and eventually you'll find the one." etc.).
But in this case, it mostly refers to the rainbow-haired harpies with their made-up genders and their canned likes about Trump, capitalism, internalized misogyny, and other fairy tales.
