I just remembered an incident from my childhood. I am from India and here it is acceptable for teachers to hit children. I clearly remembered being bullied by the female teachers(there was not a single male teacher in that school and many of the schools). And they would always hit the boys when we did some mischief but as for girls they went Scott free. Worst part was when I related my experiences to my parents and even my family they just dismissed it and made fun of me.
