True. What’s amusing about that scene is how she is getting destroyed by the Witch King and a male hobbit comes to her rescue. That’s when she says that ridiculous line even though she actually had nothing to do with defeating him other than the finishing strike after he was already weakened. It actually made her look foolish, yet feminists think it was some kind of empowering moment.
The Lord of the Rings movies are among my favorites ever, but that scene is very anti-climatic and poorly written.

It was supposed to be a commentary on hubris, I think (what classical-style epic would be complete without that?). The Witch King was convinced of his invincibility because of a prophecy. So he got owned by a hairy midget and a woman. It’s part of Tolkien’s greater message (by the will of God the forces of evil can be defeated even by those who look weak), and an allusion to such stories as David vs. Goliath.
