Porn is basically a drug with severe effects on you brain. You will suffer from shit like reduced attention span, anxiety, brain fog and many more shit. You should quit porn ASAP once you learn of its effects.

I regretted watching it since I was 11. Back then there were some factors which drove me to using porn as a coping mechanism. But this year, I'll make sure that my porn addiction will not be a part of my life.

I discovered GP penitentiary, a youtube channel which focuses on self improvement and changing self destructive behaviour and thinking this year. Helps me with dealing with stress and whatnot. Would recommend for porn addicts with self destructive thinking.

I quit porn for the most part (rarely a relapse) about 3 years ago. Mentally i feel much better and glad i did it. I do encourage trying it.

Modern porn, even “amateur” (I use quotes because a lot of it is meant to look amateur but isn’t) is meant to leave guys mentally fucked up and insecure.

I started getting turned off when I saw “incest” categories, “mother/son,” etc. I’m not interested in that whatsoever, and it seems to be everywhere.

Moreover, if all you watch is porn, you would think the average dick size, nowadays, is the size of One World Trade Center. That’s deliberately put there to make guys feel inadequate.

It's totally possible to have the same "performances" in your life than a lot of "mainstream porn" shows. It doesn't mean that you "have to". It doesn't mean that you "always" have to. And if you can't perform like that today doesn't mean you can't perform like that tomorrow. Porn is a tool.

Porn can control you, but you also can control porn. Porn can affect your self-esteem or not, it's all in how you use it and what purpose and meaning you assign to it. It's all in the mind.

Porn is what you make of it.
