Tax doesn't equal difference in prices.
They charge more for women's products because women are willing to pay more for it then men are.
To fix the price discrepancy, women just have to stop giving companies there money.
Taxes are forced, the "pink tax" is just the fact that women are willing to give more for less.
I know you probably didn't mean to, but you just removed women's agency and blamed companies for women's poor financial habits.

I won't disagree with people's right to exercise their freedom, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with the choice to exercise that freedom. Just the way I disagree with your statement here, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. Virtue signaling? Yeah, ok, maybe. But even so, if that's the intention, does it make the criticism (but not forcing a change) any less valid? Now if you were forced to change your choice based on someone's disagreement, legitimate or not, that would be some bullshit. Everyone should be allowed to do or say dumb things...but they should be prepared to face consequences of their choice, including criticism.
