This scene reminds me of when I was on the bus during the summer. A guy was sleep on the sidewalk like dude in the picture, and a lady behind me started laughing. Her friend asked what was funny, she pointed out the window to the guy and the friend started laughing. What they don't realize is, shit happens and one wrong move can land you in the same spot. I bet it wouldn't be funny to them then.

Can someone help an ignorant middle-class guy like me better understand... I really want to help but I'm also trying to be careful with my money. what's the best thing I can do to help my homeless brothers? I hear excuses ("they'll buy drugs"), mostly lame ones ("its usually a scam"), from other people in my situation about why they don't help homeless people. Is there a good reason why or way to help homeless guys and know you're doing good with your money?
