Would you have gone MGTOW if you lived in a patriarchal society?

And by patriarchy I mean in a society where the husband leads,protects and provides for the family mean while the wife leads and takes care of the kids and the household not the narrative the feminist try to push that women are oppressed in such society.

For context I am from Africa, Kenya and our societies are patriarchal.....people thrive in such a society
