My friend's coworker married a girl who got a bachelors degree and racked up 5 years of 40k+ per year loans. When he met her the debt was nearly 250k USD. He was simp enough to marry her, pay all her debt while paying a mortgage, working his ass off doing hard manual labor while she stayed at home. It's unreal!

Anyhow, he came home from work early one day and finds her getting railed by chad. He went to his shed where the gas cans were and poured gasoline all over the house then burnt the house down (without her inside). I think it was more of a symbolic gesture. He spent 1 full year in jail for it.

Around the time he paid off the whores student loans, he'd (half-jokingly) said to my friend "I could've bought a couple Lamborghinis with that money."

Never marry, never cohabitate, avoid women like the plague and stay free in all facets of the word.

Here’s one, gents.

Had my best friend, ex-marine, dying of a rare form of leukemia. Spent almost every night and time during day that I could with him. Playing video games, magic cards, our childhood connection. Watching him slowly sink away. Meanwhile his girlfriend agreed to marry him in the hospital, and I found I was there much more often that she was.

Fast forward to his inevitable death (rip Brother), where his now widowed wife sold his car, all valuables and fucked his friend the night of her dead husbands funeral.

i helped carry my friend to his memorial, proudly hoisted that casket with that same scummy friend who stabbed that nasty whore. Sadly my friends older bro took himself out about a year later losing his brother and forced to live in this reality.

The depths of evil are vast. I carry his pain with me and try to use it as strength. Take care of yourself, your kids and fellow man.

Used to drink with a couple buddies (Stan and Mike) from highschool and ended up at a kid's house I knew in middle school (Rick), we're all out of college at the time so it had been a while. Mike had an attractive young GF (Kelly) who he had been dating pretty much since HS on and off but they'd been pretty serious the past year or so. We were at Rick's place drinking and hanging out with a bunch of people at his brother's place.

Things wind down and we're all taking off, Mike suspects something is up with Kelly, and on the way home from dropping me off, he swings past Kelly's house to see if she actually went home - sure enough her car wasn't there. Mike's pissed at this point as it's about 2 in the morning and she left well in advance before us. He drives straight over to Rick's place, since the three of them always hung out and there's Kelly's car.

At this point I was telling Mike to go home and talk about it in the morning, but he wants to confront Rick since they've been childhood best friends and this was extremely fucked up. We all go up to his apartment, Mike, Stan and I - clearly you can hear Rick and Kelly's voice. Mike starts banging on the door, absolute silence and you can tell Mike is pissed demanding they come out and explain this shit. Well they don't ever come out and I get Mike and Stan to leave before the cops get there, right after we leave we see them turn into the complex. Mike's upset and pissed and we all go for a walk, it's been a couple hours now and he's calmed down.

I tell him that Rick is a diabetic and most likely won't live much longer so he should try not to hold a grudge, after all, it's Kelly's fault too. He acknowledges it and we all keep walking, mostly quiet and eventually all go home. Mike and Rick never hash it out, even since being friends from first grade - never speak a word to each other again.

About 2 years later, Rick is on vacation with Kelly when he has a massive diabetic seizure (which he was also prone to), and paramedics arrive, failing to resuscitate him. We all go to the funeral and it's one of the saddest things in my life so far.

Years later, Mike still tells me he wishes he could've forgave Rick and that I was right all along. I hate that I was right. The whole night and experience was pretty dark. Kelly though? She didn't seem that upset at the funeral compared to my friends who were bawling their eyes out about 15 minutes in. Pretty sure Kelly was already dating one of Rick's brothers before the funeral, kept it quiet for an appropriate amount of time and then got engaged and married quickly after to the brother. One of my many red pills growing up.

TL;DR: My friend's girlfriend branch swings to his best friend, he dies before friendship can be repaired, she branch swings and marries.

I think I saw a survey posted on here that 90% of women have a backup guy, of those, ~45% are actively engaging with the backup guy (to varying degrees). AWALT.
