Most higher mammalian species have evolved the same reproductive strategy. Most females mate, which provides a high number of offspring for the next generation and also allows a good sample size for the variables of evolutionary mutations to play out. But most males don't breed, instead they fight and the strongest ones are allowed to breed with almost all of the females, which grants more individual strength to the next generation.

While there are exceptions to this rule, we are not one of them as the DNA evidence shows:

80/20 rule, pareto principle, alpha fucks / beta bucks, whatever you want to call it - it's evolutionary fact. Evolution isn't a cuddly teddy bear that cares about our feelings. It's an emotionless process that can often seem extraordinarily cruel. This is why weaker people (women, bluepill men) don't like to acknowledge it.

Aside from the other post, I recommend you read Sperm Wars and The Selfish Gene by Dawkins.

The latter was my first red pill. It may not have statistics (from what I remember) but it gave me a clearer picture of evolution.

And on that note, research evolution. It's very, very interesting.
