Make your own path. Have sex if you want to, do whatever you like. The risks are not huge but they are not insignificant either. Just weigh up the cost vs the benefit. I'm 53 and been having sex my whole life, never been accused of anything but have had a slut try to trap me with a pregnancy. Also remember having sex can make you very attached to someone and fuck you up emotionally. Good luck.

It's not that simple. The problem here is: sex is not something that depends only on you, 'cause other person is involved. Is that person offering sex to you on reasonable terms, or is requiring too much? That's a question only you can answer. My advice, anyway, is to consider it coldly before jumping on the bandwagon.

MGTOW is putting yourself first in whatever way works for you.

I like fucking women. It’s a challenge to get in a woman’s pants and it feels good. It’s very much like fishing or hunting. Yes it’s risky, but manage it. That’s part of the fun.

I personally have 3 children and I adore them. I got married before MGTOW. Even then I knew marriage was a bad deal, so I picked their mother based on her looks and career prospects and career mobility. Basically I picked a breed sow and an ex-wife as much as a wife. The inevitable divorce sucked but that was the cost I knew I might pay going in and so I hedged accordingly and I’m ok personally and financially. It’s cheaper than being married to her and I have more free time to do what I want and I get to fuck whoever I want to, when/if I want to.

Marriage is a horrible deal for men. I wouldn’t do it again if I could live a thousand lifetimes.

Now I focus on my career, my kids, my hobbies, and what makes ME happy. Every now and again I’ll fuck a woman. That makes me happy to.

Do what makes YOU happy.

It can include becoming a pick up artist.

It can include FWBs.

It can include voluntary celibacy.

It can even include short-term to medium-term dating.

It all depends on what you want.

Generally speaking MGTOWS:

Eschew marriage.
Eschew cohabitation.
Eschew having children.

Beyond that things are more gray than black and white. I, personally, prefer to have as little contact with women as possible, though I am open to an arrangement that involves sex and the occasional non-sexual get together. I don't chase it, however.

I think it is something you need to experience multiple times or you will end up putting it on some kind of fantasy pedestal. The most important, and arguably hardest thing to do as a young man, is to make careful and rational decisions about who you sleep with and ensuring that you take precautions to prevent negative consequences. Some tips:

Use contraceptives. No single method is 100% effective, and condoms do break
Get screened regulary for STDs if you are going to have an active sex life. Once again, contraceptives do not prevent all STDs.
Never involve drugs or alcohol with sex. There are too many legal and moral ramifications involving consent in combination with drugs or alcohol.
Don't take it too seriously. It is fine to be nervous, but remember the first time you drove a car or tried to hit a baseball? It should be at that same level. First few times are going to be awkward and probably not great for one or both people.

Personally, now that I am in my mid 30s, I have gone monk mode. I see sex as something that is often more work than it is worth. But you need to decide what your own path in life is going to be. It is better to make small mistakes now than wonder 20 years from now on what could have been.

Going your own way is not about not having sex. It is about prioritizing your personal freedom and sovereignty. This can LIMIT the situations in which you might have sex, but it doesn't cut you off.

For example: I will never have sex with a coworker or a classmate. Basically, anyone who reports to somebody that had institutional control over an essential area of my life. And I will always do my best to keep my sex life separate from anybody who will not 100% have my back. Maybe someday if I want a family I will move to a different country to avoid the dangerous western laws, but even that is uncertain.

I recommend Coach Greg Adams and Aaron Clarey if you want to learn some basic parts of MGTOW philosophy. Remember, we are not a monolith and many people will have differing opinions in this space

you need to do what works for you, I have a GF myself. You need to have some discipline but if you have to have sex than go for it, just dont be a simp, and dont leave your path and purpose for it, they have to join you on your path and purpose, under your conditions. but thats not easy to find, and if you do find it, their going to test you pretty hard, thats why some of the gentlemen here suggest rubbing one out and moving on, their is wisdom in that as well.

The 3 rules of mgtow are: dont get married, dont have kids and dont cohabitate with a woman, the rest is up to you.

You need to read the sidebar, I wish I had done that back when I discovered MGTOW, 4 years ago. It wont tell you to not have sex but it will tell you what you need to watch out for when you do get laid or in a relationship with a woman, and how to stop making sex and women your main focus in life. There is a lot of philosophy in the sidebar, especially stoicism, which is very useful.

Ideally you wouldnt have sex at all (wich is easier the older you are) but realisticly you keep it to the bare minimum possible and as casual as possible.
Also screen for feminism, the less feminist the woman the lest risky it is.
Also because you are so young you are in a ''safer'' position than a 30 year old for example, people will have more compasion for a teenager, but still not completely safe so dont lower your guard.
