It's not a movement. It's a lifestyle choice around a few central ideas.

Fix what? There's nothing to fix. I'm not going to fix a rattle snake if I'm out hiking, I'm just going to curve around it. MGTOW is a lifestyle to avoid common problems that occur. As those problems have worsened, there is no longer any reasons to follow the 'standard' life path which has no benefits any more.

You're thinking of /r/mensrights who are theoretically trying to fix problems. There are no problems to be fixed, or that will be fixed.

This group is not a movement, it's like a bar where people hang out. If some individual is doing something about what they perceive as problems, that's their personal business.

Again, these aren't problems. It's just old 1930s ideas on a 2019 year that don't make a lot of sense any more, but are they going to change? Nope. Why would they? Zero incentive to change, there's too much money at stake.

When you go your own way, you prioritize yourself over women. When you do this you don't fall into the trap of marriage, a business contract not in your best interests. You don't have to worry about divorce or alimony because you aren't buying into the contract that requires you to do that.

MGTOW isn't a movement, it's a choice.

No. its called sharing of information. people discuss their experiences, and they discuss ways to avoid falling into the traps that some guys fall into due having relationships with women.

do you honestly think women want the laws to change? Do you think they want their status and roles to change? I mean women don't even know what they want themselves...but no one in this group is going to launch some legal crusade.

Its just talking and sharing information. Just like any other subreddit.
