Society and possibly family is telling us to but we're telling each other not to. Simple as that. If you see a post like that, they serve as reminders to not get married. There are absolutely no benefits to it and tons of problems that come with it.

Many of us have been married though. We have lost access to our years of hard work and, God forbid, our children. Some have ended up in jail. Regardless, there are plenty of articles lamenting not being able to find a good man, man up and marry a single Mom, etc, etc.

Them hinting after dates :"I would like to have this for a drink and maybe a date ( insert her awkward laughing )"
Out of 20 other colleagues, women still asking for me explicitly to service them with googly eyes

Here is a serious request. LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. I just want to live my life out in peace and even that seems to be difficult for women. No you are nothing special, no I don't care if you a vagina, I don't even care if you exist or not.

Culture and society, family, friends and even strangers get uppity because I'm not married for some weird fucking reason.

There's a lot of pressure coming from all directions to do so including the government. Down here, you don't even have to be married to be married with the defacto relationship system, otherwise known as common law marriages.

Essentially, if a woman can prove she's in some kind of relationship with you, then you're married. And if that sounds ridiculous, it's because it is. It takes only a few months to take effect and you don't even have to be living with each other at all. Just as long as she and her friends all agree and say that you're in a relationship with her to anyone in regards to the law, you're fucked.

Add on top of that, all of the rest of the bullshit that is attached to the government automatically painting you as a threat to all women at all times regardless of whether you're around them or not, and you have a perfect system of slavery and servitude without calling it as such.

And most of the world seems to be fine with it because, for most people, it's better to be a comfortable slave than free and having to take care of and be responsible for yourself.
