By not giving a fuck. And by extension, you stop giving a fuck about what men think about you, because men is who you are competing for, for women's attention.

Jobs money, cars, clothes, etc. are all competing visually with women so you look like the alpha dog in the room. The sharper suit, the best haircut. Watch American Psycho as a prime example of this mentality.

Men compete with other men to get the ladies. The ladies size up who's richest/healthiest/make tall babies/good genetics/resources and choose the one to stick their phallus in their hot pocket.

So if you don't give a shit about that, the whole thing collapses to simple levels. You don't care about competing with men, because you don't care about competing for the sake of landing a "woman" who will let you access her vag-badger.

How do you not care about approval from women? Rub one out? You just don't.

I'm in my mid twenties I had only one gf, don't have single female friend, ignored almost all of them through my life. So basically I had only small amount of interactions with females besides the ones from my family.

I had very very small amount of female interactions and never really seeked female approval. However I know female approval gives you happy hormones, no doubt about it.. ie getting a lot of matches on tinder, girls saying on online chats that you are interesting, hearing gossip that friend of your girlfriend saying that you are very sarcastic and both of them like it, girls wanting to kiss you, checking you out, hot 9/10 girls checking me out in public transport when suddenly I started speaking english on the phone in non english speaking country, even girlfriends of friends trying to see if they could fuck you. But I had only small amount of these instances in my 1/4th of century career like only dozen of times.

So basically I never seeked female approval and didn't receive much of that approval through my life. I had it replaced by playing online games at hardcore level, learning programming/math and solving different kind of problems, browsing net, interacting online with interesting people, reading wikipedia, playing chess, reading books, listening to music, watching tv movies and series, going for walks, drinking with friends, seeking achievements and by being good at things and interesting I received approval from my male friends. Girls were calling me gay ofc because I didn't kiss their ass.

So basically the answer is internal validation and achievements.

Realize that even with a woman she will never fulfill your need for approval so you’re looking in the wrong place.

By being universally and consistently ostracized by them from a young age. I have not interacted with women at all in years beyond terse interactions with cashiers and such. I definitely don't have any desire for their approval. You have to be super fucked up to be like me though.

Absent quality role models for boys as they grow up, absent suitable role models in the media, this is perhaps no surprise.

Go watch old episodes of "Rawhide" some time. Almost every episode, you see Gil Favor(Eric Fleming) and Rowdy Yates(Clint Eastwood) face a moral conundrum and do the right thing, despite personal cost or risk or fear. That is the essence of true manhood - believe in yourself, know what is right and do what is right.

Have you ever heard a woman say she doesn't need a boyfriend that is a child? This is what they mean.

Mothers are supposed to give unconditional positive regard to infants; when the kids get older, dad is supposed to step in and regard is supposed to be more conditional.

What women do not want to do is supply unconditional regard to their partners. The role of spouse is not supposed to be the same as that of small child.

If you are looking for your mommy in some woman, she will loose all respect for you and it will be a disaster.

Approval can be provided by many sources. Beginning with yourself and ending at society level. You don’t need a woman for that, because she can never satisfy your need for approval to begin with. For her your need for it is a tool of manipulation.

Sex? Well, masturbating, sex dolls, hookers. Plenty of options. Also in this case, your GF will be the worst of all opinions, because sex is the number one tool to blackmail or emotionally abuse you. Sex is only good with women who have no power over you but you have power over them. Any other form of sex will turn a man into a cuck.
