Why would you consider this trolling /r/mgtow? I saw the post, a former braincels mod posted a suicide note, and it got buried where most of the members of their sub didn't see it for days because of the IncelTears brigades downvoting it to shit and upvoting everything else, and by the time it caught any attention it was assumed he had killed himself (whether he did or didn't). But it has nothing to do with MGTOW, so how is it an attempt to troll us even if its all fake?

Marriage was never meant to be a partnership. All ancient documents describe the woman as a mere helper to the man. Whether its Genesis "It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a helper suitable to him" or whether its Marcus Aurelius "I'm thankful that my wife is submissive, obedient, and kind, and that I have no trouble finding good tutors for my children"--women are never seen as partners but only helpers.

Nature itself punishes degeneracy with STDs showing us which option is indeed degeneracy. So who gets STDs? Men in a society where monogamy is enforced by women having no other option (i.e. like OT law)? Or men who live where there is "community of wives"? It is the latter. The religion teaches no such thing. A chapter in the Bible teaches it (1 Cor 7) and another verse (Rev 14:4). The religion does not. There's a distinction between a religion's scripture (a book) and the religion itself (tradition) whether Evangelicals will admit it or not. Catholicism might (or at least used to before Vatican 2) teach that chapter as part of their tradition, but Protestantism certainly does not.
