To understand this you have to understand that the left, AFAICT, defines right/wrong by how they feel about a situation, and how they feel is based primarily (if not entirely) on how many ideologically-oppressed group(s) each person belongs to, and which of those groups are more oppressed than the others.

The college age woman is "most oppressed" vs all of her male peers, and trans dude(tte) using the women's rest room is "most oppressed" vs the little girl.
