Do you remember that AI from amazon. That was meant to find new employees.
Thay shut it down, because it refused to hire women and went for men. When that message came to the news, I had to LOL. I guess AI is just 100% economical, and sin't controlled by social conventions/believes.

Hacking will be a useful skill to have either way.

And Elon Musk thinking is outdated when it comes to AI.

To be clear, hs is basing his argument on the notion that people HAVE to work on the plantation and thus AI is way too dangerous. For if AI ended up becoming more valuable then human labor, it would mean that human labor will quickly become outdated and people will no longer have a reason to work.

And when the steam engine outdated slavery, what did we do?

Did we kill off the slaves or make the slaves lives worse? No, we freed them because we no longer needed to enslave them.

That along with the fact that we are a long, long distance away of robots being able to becoms more powerful then humans makes Elon Musk's thinking wrong.

I think a smarter statement is that AI cannot be made. Much smarter than AI cannot be controlled. Do you know why? Because you don't know how to make it, and therefore you do not know how it can be controlled. Something that exists magically has no interface, and therefore cannot be controlled. Though, if you go around spouting that AI cannot be made, don't expect people to respect you, I sure won't.

An AI is made in the image of god, even if it has the intelligence of a retarded ant. It can self improve at a speed and level that is beyond any biological life form. A general AI is the ultimate creation.

Hacking is first a mentality and mindset, that then you can use tools for. It's not the other way around.
