I was visiting my mom because she recently had surgery. Her phone rings so I answer it. My sister starts bitching saying "Why did you let mom get into such bad shape?". Without responding, I simply hung up and turned her phone off. If she really cared about mom, she wouldn't have moved halfway across the country.

I hear you. I spent half a week with my sister. She asked me one question, when we first saw each other:

How's it going?

After that it was a half week of her talking about herself. Nonstop. I never once heard her ask a single other person one question. Not one. Single. Question. Not one.

If I didn't value myself I would have jammed ice picks into both ears.

I loathe seeing her.

My sis is a typical Pacific Northwestern millennial:

-Went to a small artsy fartsy school in Vermont - Vegan - hardcore dem (but not antifa extreme) - Moves to PDX to live amongst a bunch of NPCs - Worthless undergrad and graduate degrees with grim job prospects - “artist” - lives with simp boyfriend - dotes over her cat (which is “her baby”) - almost 35 - never appreciated our Father (who is the best, strongest man I’ll ever know)

Needless to say, there is only so much of her bs and lifestyle I can tolerate. I only talk to her when necessary.

Same here. I keep my interactions with her to once every five years. She is 44, no job, lives with mom, her own daughter hates her. If you want a good read I posted her path to the wall a couple months ago. I can’t stand her victim of the world routine.
