This is really quite disheartening, b/c as I went MGTOW, anticipating the oncoming collapse, I always took for granted this one ongoing bastion of freedom. When I was younger, I would have taken offense to the abrasive nature of Linus, but being red-pilled, and older, wiser, and in the industry for a while, I see how important it is to have a well focused and critical group of contributors.

So now what? Fork? I'd say support Reddox, but even that's somewhat biased towards Firefox, which has some slightly unfortunate ties to Antifa. FreeBSD?

Damn, and Linux games were just really starting to ramp up, with Steam supporting Windows games on Linux. What a shame.

unfortunately, this retroactive pulling of copyright is probably impossible, unless they violate terms of GPL v2.

destruction seems to be the goal, wolf in sheeps clothing. it seems to be working for those dismantling society one brick at a time, now it's a core foundation of modern technology with Linux.

I really need to find a way to accelerate my departure timetable with enough FU money. shits been heating up at my workplace as well, warning signs are everywhere and shots across the bow have been fired. I survived another year, but I've been told I'm being targeted, along with many others...new management is slowly replacing everyone...

This could be the best news ever. Please let the Linux devs call them on this. You know how much stuff runs on Linux. You know how many security holes this opens up. You know the amount of law suits will come out when people's data is compromised. You know how fast companies will stop this sjw shit, when millions of dollars is on the table. And if nothing else remove people's code. Give a new set of terms and conditions where they can't do it anymore, and your done.

Time to fork Linux, rip out the SystemD atrocities that RedHat has been adding, replace them with that which Solaris or FreeBSD uses, and leave the SJW contributors (who contribute nothing of substance) to themselves, censoring the repository of an abandoned code base.

We could probably get 90% of both the top Linux and FreeBSD devs who, as evil white men, have had enough of this BS, too.

Add a viral license that forbids any code of conducts.
