I am M/38 my wife is F/37. She has a TON of hormonal issues due to early menopause and is dealing with chronic fatigue. We both work 40-45 hrs/week. It has been a struggle for her to help me with anything around the house. I do almost all of the cooking, cleaning, errands and yard work. Truth be told, I'm not very good at...it takes me a long time and I don't have any energy at the end of the day to finish it all. What is a good way while still coming from a place of compassion and understanding to get her to help me out just a little bit more. I don't have the money to hire the help to take things off my plate and I definitely don't have the bandwidth to keep up the amount of effort required to maintain the household chores.

UPDATE: I spoke with my wife about how I've been feeling. She understands where I am coming from. Aside from cooking and dishes which I do everyday anyways, she is going to write up a simple cleaning rotation that should only take between 30 and 45 minutes a day for myself with a list of what chemicals I should use on what things. She will set aside something small she can do each day that I don't have to worry about that shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. Thank you for all your suggestions.
