So happy I found this. I thought all the MGTOW pages on Reddit were taken down and I've been desperate to find MGTOW friends. None of mine understand MGTOW at all and think it's "just about being hurt" or "only older men go MGTOW" Just happy I found this place and would like to start posting soon.

I see nothing wrong with being hurt and going MGTOW. Relationships are pain. Avoiding pain is a rational choice, unless you're promised some reward for enduring a certain amount of pain. However, with dating, there's nothing guaranteed. I've seen better men than myself being dumped and cheated on, so, I don't know what the average Joe is supposed to do. Some games neither winnable, nor worth playing. Your friends are either women who have 20 guys in this very moment who want to be with her, or guys who are still in delusion.

Next time those idiots say something akin to "only people who get hurt go MGTOW" do tell them that NOT reacting to a painful stimuli is pretty much the epitome of stupidity. You SHOULD react and learn from things that hurt you. Otherwise, you're just a slow learner or an idiot. Possibly both.

Some things to keep in mind.

Learn self reliance. If you want true companionship, get a dog. Friends can and will fuck you over if they haven't unplugged. But I guarantee you, they will come crawling back when they gerg fucked over. Also, if they can't relate or deal with yoir MGTOW beliefs, they aren't your buddies. They are slaves to the plantation.
Invest in self improvement and hobbies. This will learn you skills and give you things to look forward to.
Find NEW friends if you desire in these hobbies. If it comes up, just flat out say, I don't deal with relationships and they aren't worth my time or money.
