My job is amazing. I run a machine. I'm the only person I have to deal with all night long. I don't talk to anyone. I read. I make adjustments as needed. I load and unload the machine. After ten hours I go home. It's very peaceful.

If I recall correctly, Aristotle was referring here to the relationship of men to the Greek πόλις (polis = city-state) and that it was natural for men to be social beings or as he put it, political animals. The worst thing a person could be back then was ostracized from interaction with the community of others.

Of course, you've got to remember that women at that time were confined to their husbands' homes and not accorded any political status.

I talked to a long-time friend on the phone a couple of days ago. He's not a bad guy but the kind of pseudo alpha-male who always pretend to be right, to know everything and want the whole world to recognize how talented he is.

The conversation left me exhausted and thinking:'Why the fuck did you interrupt a rather pleasant and quiet afternoon to talk with someone, with 0 positive outcome?'

Solitude is truly a bliss.

classic mgtow not understanding anything worth understanding, Aristotle was writing in Politics that the natural state of man is being a part of a whole and that essentially 'no man is an island'. Therefore only things outside of the scope of mankind, like beasts and perfect beings desire solitude.

In Hinduism men who wanted to go own way were initiated as monks/bhikshus. They were treated with respect and a celibate was worshipped. Women will wipe their feet out of respect considering them holy. But that also means they can’t go around society flirting with women and creating discord in marital relationships.

Those who wanted to stay in marriage and as social animals had to produce something for the community or at least their family in exchange for recognition as the patriarch of that family. In such society women were also forbidden to whore around. I am convinced that they had gender dynamics and its harnessing figures out to the T - until the western feminists came along.
