I've pretty much always felt like interacting with women in a sexual way has been risky. It feels like advancing in any form of relationship you may have to a sexual point is risky and it's hard to get these thoughts out of your mind and just let things roll. I'm in my mid 20s and growing up you just hear constant messages about how men are creeps and sexual predators, etc. It runs extremely deep throughout society . I in no way support any form of sexual violence but even making initial contact with a woman feels risky. I have always felt a little uneasy but never really talked about it before. You may be rejected. Okay, that's something you can get over. But now it feels almost like you are comitting some type of crime by showing interest . Like there is a wide gap between the sexes where any form of intimacy is dangerous and the government fills this huge void between the sexes. Like there is this low level of trust and anything you do will be scrutinized by everyone and their mother. Anyone else feel this way?
