If you end up going to eat with a woman and she ditches you with the bill, just remember that:

  1. Try not to end up in this situation in the first place.

  2. You can simply tell the restaurant staff that you hardly know the woman that ran off. That you will be happy to pay your portion of the bill. That you won't pay her portion, but you'd be happy to be a witness if they want to file a police report on her for theft.
