Focus on now, work to your goals. Assuming you're on rock bottom work through the priorities: shelter, food, water. Tight money =/= no money. Prioritize on your expenses and always try to save some, no matter how small on an emergency deposit. Appreciate every little perk you gain in your life. If you have the food/ shelter/ water settled. Work to buy a bed, then a fridge so you can keep your food well longer. a.s.o. Don't stare yourself blind to that end of the tunnel light. Life might have more unpleasant surprises waiting for you. Thoroughly enjoy the good things, no matter how ffing insignificant you might think of it: they matter. They matter so unbelievable much. You're clawing your way back out of the pit, so every fucking inch is worth more than 10 billion $ on your bank account. And don't you fucking give up OP. Yes: you're allowed to give up. Don't let it cripple you brother, broke is just a temporary situation but poor is a life choice. Make the best of the time that you have and study how to invest, build yourself up.

You are an eagle, and eagles fly alone, they don't ask for permission. Don't mind what the pigeons say because they are weak, and can't fly as high as you. Spread those wings and overcome that FEAR; It's your guide post because you're afraid of what you don't understand. It's just false expectations appearing real, study hard, learn to build a business, stay focused, and you will succeed.

Been there, done that. It’s tough, especially at first. The best advice I can give you is to strip your life down to the bare essentials. Go as minimalist as you can. Focus on yourself. Look after yourself and your health. Give yourself time to heal.

Been there. Not fun. Took 18 months to get finances away from the cliff edge - yup divorce. But, I’m now amazed at how the money doesn’t just disappear. No one else to pay for. No one else to insist on $400 hair cuts, new clothes every week, having an expensive car when she works one bus ride from home.... Yup. It’s the nonsense that in years to come you will review and nod your head at your previous gullibility.
