Gentlemen, I was over on another forum a while back and I saw an interesting post about minimalism. It set me thinking about ways we can " starve the beast. Few of us can go completely " off grid" but we can reduce our interaction with the blue pill world and reduce our contribution to it. Protesting and preaching is not part of mgtow but living well for less is IMHO , very much part of the lifestyle. So I thought I would open the discussion, how can we live well while " starving the beast." The first point was shopping. I think it best if we try to shop in small local shops if possible, like farm shops or farmer's markets. If you must shop or spend money with virtue signalling corporations , try to get as much out of them, legally as you can. On top of that ,there are ideas for saving money wherever possible.Charge your phones at work or in the car , and eat and wash up at work thus saving money. If you need to heat a room in your house, make a "Cornish Heater " using a candle, and a flowerpot. Use less water by showering rather than having a bath and if you can, get solar panels for your home. (One of the UK mgtows has solar panels on his boat. How good is that?) Where possible grow your own food or bulk buy.You could also reduce your calorie intake simply by eating less and thus saving even more money while lowering your risk of cancer, diabetes etc.Once the weather gets warmer, I will do more cooking outside on a BBQ .I will use old paper and wood I've collected for fuel rather than use electricity, all helping to save money which I can use for other things. Sorry for the long post but I see it as part of the Cold War against a system which wants us to work harder, get into debt and still treats us like garbage. I'm sure many of you will have all sorts of ways you can make your money go further and keeping it out of the hands of those who wish us harm. Thanks in advance.
