Crazy how women back in the day could do all household chores without modern technology (ie: washer, dryer, etc), cook good meals and raise many more children than the average household today.

Any job you can do in your pajamas isn't that hard.

My mother cared for 3 boys and her husband, she cooked, cleaned, washing, tended a large vegetable garden, animals. With little to no help, and these whatever-they-are can't even care for 1 child.... Oh the humanity

I love this thread, friends.

I have 5 friends with children and a wife/gf.

Out of them, 4 complain that the wife sits around too much. Out of those 4, 3 work +40/week labour jobs, and the 4th is a rig worker.

All of them make great money, and have had to hire a nanny to some extent.

I fucking hate SAHM.

I sat an infant for a week while a friend was off in THE US dealing with a family emergency. I tell you that was the easiest week of my life.

Sat the tyke down next me on the couch and played vidya games most of the time.

They came back and the house was in better shape than they left it in with the baby sleeping away.

Only a woman could turn a 3-4 hour a day gig into a 12 hour a day one. I saw a comment about Forbes reporting the average SAHM working 96 hours a week and so I dug into it and it said stuff like: laundry 4 hours per week. Cooking, 4 hours per day. Cleaning4 hours per day.

It's more like 4 hours of a month, an hour of cleaning a week.

The hardest part iss just keeping an eye on the sucker 12 hours a day.

My mum was a SAHM, always kept the house clean, cooked dinner and looked after us while dad was at work. You never see ladies like this anymore.
