Meeh, what old-school hero is not pussyfied nowadays? I mean, the last James Bond book is bad enough, Bond getting lectured about the dangers of smoking by a lesbian and a gay friend, but look at Mad Max, for christs sake.

I mean, I adored the action, but the characters? Men are exclusively portrayed as war mongerers, idiots and cannon fodder. And even Max is basically portrayed as damaged asshole who can only redeem himseld by doing the dirty work and the bleeding for a woman that is than celebrated as the hero.

I mean, look at her. Look at how women are portrayed in this movie. Basically it is one giant joke, considering that George Miller went cuck and declared the new Mad Max a feminist movie.

Women in this movie get nothing done. Max has been almost bled out, tortured and survived a ride bound on the hood of a car, a mega storm and a car crash and the glorious furiosa is still not able to overpower him.

The so calledd utopia is a shithole that got wrecked by the woman who ruled the place.

And when this utopia turns out as a dead end, it is Max who has to get shit done.

And when shit is done, what does Furiosa do? Pouring away all the stored water, so none can have any.

And yet, Max is the asshole, the useless women are the heros. Men can't have nice things anymore.

My beloved Star Trek... gone. My beloved Doctor Who... turned into an SJW cringefest that hates on men, promotes communism and eventually made the Doctor a woman. The new Oceans 12 movie... an all women cast.

I really, really hope Hollywood never lays hands on the old Schwarzenegger movies...

That's a good stance - I personally am not a big sucker for celebrity-ism either - was just something I had picked up from his life as a politician

Though I do think that a person's political convictions can taint their acting significantly - it's not really an issue here because I think Arnold is basically just bullshitting people now that he's old or he's gone a little soft - who knows - but he was there all the way when he was doing the movies and that's what matters

In particular imagine someone who is a complete feminist ultra leftist - imagine the kind of psychological condition a man has to be in to live that kind of life - now imagine that man acting - you think that that type of man will be able to "lay aside his bias" and convincingly portray - say - a healthy confident masculine man? Or is he more likely to let his true beliefs and self-loathing bleed into his acting on nonverbal levels?
