Foundations have been set, no need to add more. it's gained original traction. now it will be just a influx of mostly rabid sexual frustrated young men. i prefer the exclusivity, it had more coherence and direction. now its quite drowned.

I'm here to simply to collect ideas and then move on, ultimately get certain things out of my system.

MGTOW is an idea not a club or movement. If you like the idea then incorporate it and get on with real life/living. So many things out there are ruined by people wanting to put "I'm a" in front of them and make it the center of their, very hollow, identity. Part of what many mgtows give as advice will be just that - Be more than just this.

What is missing is an understanding of the future and what comes next for Men.

Men's Rights was the realization that all the "patriarchy", "oppression", "privilege" rhetoric is a lie hiding the fact that Men have few actual privileges and lack many fundamental rights.

TRP was the initial understanding of wimminz' true nature, that the biological foundation underlying modern gynocracy is hypergamy.

MGTOW is the putting in action of this knowledge in the form of peaceful resistance, refusal and disobedience to conform. MGTOW strikes at a fundamental weakness in the system: it depends on Men engaging it. Denying marriage and LTRs renders divorce/family/custody laws powerless and deprives wimminz of Men's financial resources.

This is just the start, there is still much, much more to come. It is far from "over".

this is like comparing the first generation cast of SNL (Ackroid, Murray, Belushi, radner) with the second (sandler, mike myers, dana carvey, farley, spade)

I am a big fan of the second gen SNL just like the second GEN OF MOGTOW philosophers. I've listened to the older guys and they are a bore to some degree.

I say it doesn't matter who is better just as along as they make others aware.

I would say the older mgtow are from the BOOMER GENERATION while many of the new are GENX AND GENY. GEN XY need entertainment. MGTOW 101 rules

well, their old stuff is still on youtube right? The framework is still there for new men to learn from. But can't blame the creators for going their own way after completing what they had to do. the whole point of this is to enjoy your life, so they are probably surfing on a beach or something.

There is not much more to add really, once you have your eyes opened to the true nature of women and the reality of this system then how much more content do you need?

Perhaps like the actual historical Renaissance, the best achievements man will ever attain have been done. Why reinvent the wheel? That foundation of excellence has been set, everything that comes after is merely a footnote. I'm not suggesting we stop thinking and creating. However, we need to note that times change, society forces us to look at things that the older giants couldn't possibly comprehend. Will we match their greatness? Probably not.

With all due respect, I'm fairly new to this movement. The last thing I want to hear is someone already pining for the "golden era".

Those "heavyweights" you call them often had a rudimentary idea of what MGTOW even is. At least to me, anyway. I think they were just speaking obviously about specific things. Personal finances and retirement to me are not MGTOW ideas, you're just another pebble in the river, pulled along its flow when you talk of finances and retirement. It's not about sexuality or gender relationships. It's about denying any or all social conventions you see fit and having the conviction to seek your own path.

It's the path of the pioneer. It's rugged with no guidelines, no affirmations from society along the way saying "you're doing this right." By "this right" I mean "a way in which we approve or validate."
