Post got removed because a lot of truth was being disclosed by the replies.

That's Reddit in a nutshell. "Hey guys, let's talk about this topic but only say what I approve of!"

Many thanks to all our mgtow brothers that make the sacrifice of getting banned in other subs by speaking the truth. - Amazing how just saying one word can reach the bluepill boys on the verge of asking: What is mgtow?
Nothing is more dangerous than a slave wondering what freedom feels like.

Marriage, religion and feminism.
[–]wildfireboat21 points22 points23 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I like personal religions.
But I'll be damned if I bow to some other dude in a hat.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Bit redundant there sir, feminism is a religion
[–]Of12Cane0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I'd say it's an ideology, religion usually is about God(s). Unless their God is the divine feminine or something lol.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
well they even have a devil figure (patriarchy)
[–]dtaylortx1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And dogma. Yeah redundant is apt in my case.

They do have a god. Their god is the vag
[–]LiveTheTruth3210 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They will refer to God as being female, they wont use the proper term goddess. Theyll just say god is a women, like Ariana Grande sings.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The pussy is their god in that they expect men to worship it.

Voting in america
[–]LightningPeregrine9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
From what I know without the electoral college, places such as California and Florida would decide the fate of the entire country. The College stops the states with the highest population controlling the country, especially California as they can just get more economic migrants from across the border to prop up their voting base.
[–]NathanHollister7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The electoral college is also designed to prevent the unwashed masses from getting to decide the president. Basically, the people might vote for a corrupt nutjob and theoretically, they EC can overrule them.
As you said, it also protects the interests of those who don't live in cities. Without EC, politicians would totally ignore any city under 1,000,000 people. In fact, they probably wouldn't campaign at all. Fewer people would participate as well, because the outcome of the election would be more certain (why bother voting if you already know who will win).

You are aware that no first world country directly elects the head of state, right?
[–]LightningPeregrine0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
In the UK at least we vote in the political party and the party decides who the leader is. Most of the time the leader has been in their position for some time before becoming prime minister, but sometimes the current head of the party steps down for whatever reason and another takes their place.
This is the reason May is the prime minister, the conservitives were in power when Cameron stepped down. May was the only candidate left for the leadership bid as everyone else pulled out, either because they did not have enough support or for other reasons.
[–]NathanHollister-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I know how it works in the UK. My point is people like to whine that EC is unfair, while actually, people in USA have more say in who the head of govt is than any other country.

Communism.
As well as marriage.
[–]TheDevilsAdvokaat1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Religion. marriage, multi level marketing...
[–]LightningPeregrine4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Back in the day when the church held more power, they kept women in check and made marriage a good idea for everyone. They made sure that adultery was punished and that people could only remarry if their spouse died. Religion was actually keeping marriage a fair deal for men.
I am not saying that religion invented pair bonding but they policed it to keep both male and female natures in check to protect and form the nuclear family. I am not supporting one religion over another, or trying to convert anyone, just objectively stating what they did.
[–]SlowJellyfish10 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
When a democracy holds power, it's up to "the people" to know and understand how to govern themselves. Right now, "the people" do not understand the importance of marriage, keeping hypergamy in check etc. I think we will reach a point where democracy will start keeping "women in check" and making marriage a good idea for everyone. It might take a generation or two of "cat ladies", but it will happen. If not, then we will be just another japan - a country where population decline is starting to be a real issue.

I'm an atheist; but yes I do think this is one of the healthier things the church did.
As you say, not supporting religion, not trying to convert anyone; but it was something that contributed positively to our civilisation.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think communism is the better answer to that question

The idea that there is a god(s).
[–]CJPC281 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
There is a God. It isnt what you think it may be, be i can put my soul at risk, and say that definitely the universe is waaaaaaay too complex and with so many laws, to be just random.
[–]Im_Talking0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
So you're answering the question of a complex universe with a even-more complicated answer (there is a god)? Occam is your friend here.

If you find an iphone in the middle of the dessert. Would you think it was created randomly?? Well.. we are the iphones on the milky way.
