So yeah... TFA was entertaining but had way too many new hope parallels.

Rogue one was relatively ok/enjoyable though some what of a plot hole though also think they made some last minute edits to it that just fucked up the final battle from a making sense perspective.

But hoooooo boy, TLJ i waited, TFA made me semi skeptical... it was an entertaining movie but i was on the fence.

waited it out and all the crap i keep hearing (still haven't seen) makes me never want to see star wars again.

at this point the only way to save it is to "reboot" the franchise and drop the SJW pandering but even that wouldn't go over well... unless they just retcon and redo EP7/8 but that'd just be wierd at this point.

so many other things they could have done besides smashing the original EU, i mean they would have had to recast luke/leia/han and the rest but i was half expecting that already when i heard disney was buying out lucas arts.

hell would have love to seen the courtship of princess leia or the jedi academy trilogy as a movie...

so any one else concerned with disney buying fox? like its becoming increasingly easier to list the companies that arent owned by disney as far as media goes then the ones that are.

After the last movie turned out to be a giant shit, I'm not sure I want to see anymore of them. Disney needs to fire the producers and publicly state they never allow the director to work on another Star Wars film to restore my confidence.

I don't care who they put in any of those new crapfests, I won't be watching until there is major changes in the casting, directing, writing departments.

I could only make it half way through rouge after multiple tries and didn't even bother with the new one, especially after hearing reviews and seeing all the "Force is Female" t shirts on the director and writers. All they are doing is making gurlpwwwrrrr movies where they're fighting the dark side (patriarchy) and having to help all the stupid males out of their scrapes. Hot garbage, they can keep it
