What really happened- She found a new Chad/Tyrone she’s been cheating with for a while, wanted to ghost but didn’t want to look bad so lies and claims abuse to look like a victim even though she’s a cheating whore.

He needs MGTOW.

Also whatever happened to actually just breaking up like a normal person, oh yeah forgot women are children in adult bodies and can’t be mature in a breakup process.

His mistake is thinking that there was nothing wrong with their relationship and everything was going ok, his other mistake would be that he can not read minds because women don't open up on these things and expect their boyfriends/fiancee to just know how she is thinking and feeling. It's avoiding this bullshit, drama and mindgames that would allow a MGTOW man live longer than a simp.

Something similar happened to me many years ago. Basically, she decided she wanted to call it off, and couldn't do it without "losing face" socially, so under the bus he went. She was probably already porking another "great guy" too.

My advice to him is to move, leaving nothing but bridges reduced to cinders behind him.
