There was a phrase that my parent's generation used a lot: "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" It was directed towards young women. Why get married when she'll have sex with you without getting married?

My generation of women ignored the advice, and my generation of men got married anyway, because it was just what you did.

But then we got divorce raped. We had the courts shame us and coerce and control us. Now our advice is to young men: Don't get married. Marriage doesn't improve your chances of getting laid. In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's a very expensive cow, and owning it gets you less milk than if you didn't.

Most people didn't actually die at 30. The mean life expectancy was 30, because there was massive childhood mortality. The majority of people that lived past childhood got into their 50s or 60s (unless there was a plague on).

It really is fascinating that men and women are able to connect with groups on the internet.

It allows introverts and the like, man or woman, to live whatever life they want. Without the drama or BS that they are sick of.

Marriage is extremely outdated. It made sense for two royale families to marry but when you now have female leeches who offer no value they are a threat to your wealth. It would be better to just be alone or date. No need to give someone your last name for free and let them enjoy your spoils.

Truth be told...female mortality was incredibly high during child birth. It was not uncommon for a man to have three wives, two of whom having died while giving birth, from the time he was in his mid-teens until his death at 40 or 50....
