I think we are all beginning to see that everything in life is a facade. It's not real. That anything that we think is real like rules or laws can be manipulated by anyone given enough courage.

That anything institutional that we are led to believe protects society is only there to protect the rich.

Well I don't want to ruin perfectly well reasoned panic.

But I assume as a result of our society's intellectual bankruptcy the following might happen:

hyper inflation or stock market crash
banking crash similar to the 1930s: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Depression
severe restructuring of the political and corporate landscape
supply and import/export problems

I think a massive restructuring of economy and politics is inevitable. Because economic constraints of the digital 21st century differ vastly from the economic constraints of the 20th century.

Accelerating factors, I see:

baby boomers of the 20th century retiring in the 2020s, making room for new actors, maybe leaving power-vacuum?
in several countries in the western world there will be a lot more pensioners and at the same time a lot less people in the workforce
china will decree a new 5-year-plan in march 2021, it is said they will severely limit exports with it. This will have a severe impact on the western world as we import like 90 % of our electronics from china
market volatility seems to increase (e.g. Bitcoins, Robinhood/Gamestop)
global corona crisis
increasing extremism on the left side as well as on the right side
young men, unemployed with nothing to do (in history such times often correlate with wars and revolution breaking out)
people not allowed to attend masses in some countries, making them restless

We won't have to worry about the immediate food-supply. Farmers will keep working. But supply-chains might be disturbed heavily.

What might happen?

financial markets developing further until they reach a breaking point
sudden explosion in the economic landscape
bankruptcy of old corporations
unemployment rising afterwards
new corporations
new ideologies and beliefs rising in popularity (i.e. that stupid belief of Nazis in the 1930s and 1940s that purity of race would safe them from trouble)

What can I do?

I don't know
buy currency that isn't affected by inflation, e.g. Gold?
be ready and knowledgeable to take on new jobs when restructuring happens?
maybe buy some electronics from China before they stop exporting so much, so cheap

When will it happen?

I don't know
maybe in a month, maybe in 5 years, maybe in 10 years, maybe never - a lot of crisis' can be averted by a smart man doing the right thing. Decisive action taking by a well-informed and smart men acting a few months ahead of time has often averted the worst things to happen.
If I may guess I expect like the latter part of the 2020s to experience the heaviest changes, since the baby boomers will retire then

The wallstreets bets are pretty historic..billionaire hedge funds shorts on gamestop but they unitedly buy and hold. Saw there they are 5 million in the sub. And a thread I read is they want to bankrupt a hedgefund.

This is basically an event like Washington catching the Brits having a Christmas party at Trenton.

ie the Swamp Rats lost their invincibility.

And others will start looking for other ways to screw them.

Theres alot more others, than Swamp Rats. Gonna be death by a thousands cuts.

No need for violence, will just be guys using their brains and whatever leverage they figure out, And with an absolutely rigged system, there will be cracks that can be levered everywhere, finding them like an Easter Egg Hunt.

Another good area to look for ways to lever is commodities futures trading. Basically Medieval "Forestallers" manipulating prices between food producers and consumers, and screwing both, its similar to the short sellers, does no actual good.

Meanwhile, the Exodus of men continues. What women do or say is of no consequence in comparison.

What we do individually is way more powerful.

Wont be the last shockwave. Hedge your bets by prepping and buying in rural, the City State model is breaking down before our eyes.

The Short Sellers are now hunted animals... can be tracked and trapped, the patterns will be analysed and perfected, and when they appear will be jumped on.

Support what you believe in, buy into the future you want, and hold it.

All common man has to realize, is that he can weaponize everything he does.

What he buys or doesnt, is infinitely more powerful than voting in a rigged system.

Vote with your feet, vote with your money, vote with your work, vote with your hobbies, vote with what you refuse to do.

Its all bogus....

I just got up to date on this. Goes to show what a group of men who are pissed off at corrupt business practices can really do once they combine together. I love it, and men can take back even more across all demographics.

All men take one step and the entire group moves astronomically. Like the Spartan army, each is a small force creating an even more powerful force

Look into citizenship by ancestry (even if its a EU nation, its good to have a second passport) or residency by retirement/visa (Malaysia once the 10 year visa is opened back up again).

Start moving money overseas once you establish that, even if its just an emergency fund of 10k.

If you don't have the resources or capabilities to do that, look into forming groups of communities (ng zed) or going far away from the continental US - Alaska. Parts of remote Maine, Washington might be ok as well but no guarantees.

If you can't even do that, going van life might be the best option, provided you relo to near one of the borders so if SHTF you can pop smoke and ghost.

As to timeframe, your guess is as good as mine.

Hi,

i am living in Germany and have the same feeling about the future of our economy.

Something will happen. No matter if it is a bank crisis , the colapse of our money itself, a remodeling toward an ecologic friendly system or an stock market crash.

The problem is that this problems are nothing local.

If something happen it will be worldwide.

So for my opinion it`s better to stay in my country . I know the language the places and the unspoken rules.

I for myself has bought a little bit of land out of the town nearby nowhere.

Hopefully my gardening skills will be enough to provide myself with a nice hobby and food for the family and trading / selling.

There is one thing that will help me through everything. I don`t have to carry a wife...

My country has existed in a state of anarchy where everything exists at the same time. Poverty and wealth at a level unimaginable. Cleanliness and the worst places on earth, racism and equality at their extremes.. Drugs and anti drugs.. You name it and you'll find the opposite ends of almost any spectrum here. If you want most value for your money this is the place. But mind you, India is playing life on Nightmare difficulty so it's not for everyone. Also every country on earth was looking for directions to India for thousands of years until the last few hundred years.. There's a reason and its not just wealth and resources. Cheers.
