Of course, this pretty much was the first thing I said when I heard about tinder the first time, "how much this will be flooded by women "just looking/searching friends"". Vocal defensive mechanism, just as the betabois there also are "just looking" to soften the blow by possible rejections, it always was like that with dating sites/apps.
The only thing is that it's fucking stupid. Why hide your intentions (answer obviously is this weird cowardly attitude most people today have)? It's like going to a restaurant without eating anything every night, I doubt they would let you enter after doing that a few times.

Ehh..I think a good amount are using it for sex, but most women are too much of a special snowflake to admit that they like sex too and look down upon men who are seeking sex. It's actually one of the more annoying things about tinder when I used it. But I do think a lot of the twats do use it for validation. If the right Chad comes along she'll hop in bed pretty easily.
