...within you to seek a mission beyond what society deems typical.
In a word, I find social media to be abhorrent; it's been a couple of years since I've unplugged. It should come as no surprise that social media use is connected to increased rates of depression. Knowing this, why the hell would I find myself using Tinder for a month? Curiosity; we absorb so much from "the red pill", yet it pales in comparison to seeing it unfold before our very eyes.
First, a little backstory. While out with some mates, one of them happened to bring up the subject of using dating apps. Most admitted to using, or were in the process of using a dating app. I admitted to never having used one, and included the fact that a social media account would be required. This leads to a friend saying Tinder now allows you to use just your phone number. Fueled by a couple of gin and tonics, I say, "Fuck it, why not." Without a care I took a goofy pic of my mug and provided a half-ass bio about saving poor disenfranchised avocados.
Now I haven't been living under a rock, so I understood a few things to expect from Tinder; bots, InstaGram/SnapChat whores, and the like. As an average bloke, though, I also expected the ever true 80/20 rule to apply. Even with all that in mind, the IDGAF attitude was prevalent throughout the experience.
After a month of cataloguing, here are the results: out of 31 genuine matches, only one woman emerged as someone I'd be willing to have a beer with. The rest were a testament to what the red pill has taught us. Most put practically zero effort into communication, and even when they did they were way more dull than their bios made them out to be. On a few occasions I did invite girls out to something I had already planned on doing (bowling, billiards, and go-carts), and on every occasion each girl flaked without a word after showing initial enthusiasm.
The app no longer exists on my phone, but I am thankful that my time with it has only fortified red pill theory in my mind. Relationships with women, from my perspective, are still an inconvenience to any man with the capacity to reason beyond the tip of their penis. Gentlemen, whatever your calling may be, remember to adamantly pursue it for your own sake; a woman is not required for such things.
For the curious, feel free to ask any questions regarding my time with Tinder.

Once a day for about an hour. I should note that I did significantly more left-swiping than right. Some would say my standards are ridiculous, but it really just boiled down to four things: no BBW, no single mothers, no "snowflakes", and no tobacco.
