You're not doing it wrong man. It took me over two years to calm down. I have no idea how to get rid of it, but try to enjoy yourself and focus on potential solutions like a sexdoll or vrporn. Try to sit still and think to yourself about it. Over time our brains adapt and we see women through a lense of context. "focus on yourself" means you have previously been pushing your energy and effort to benefit others around you, or show off your good traits to women and the public. Instead, try thinking about what interests you and explore those things/ideas.

I sometimes do the following:

(1) When I am angry and rage builds up, I think about something that needs to be done. It can be anything that you have avoided doing for quite a while, because it is difficult, time-consuming, uncomfortable, etc.

(2) I will tell myself that I am allowed to feel angry only after I have done something about that issue for – let’s say – 3 hours.

(3) Usually after those 3 hours I am totally mentally exhausted, but satisfied with my progress.

(4) I have no energy to be angry anymore on that day.

(5) Rinse and repeat.

I’d like to add meditation to the options you have. The mental control and clarity that come with regular meditation are pretty amazing.

I recommend the “Calm” app (no I’m not associated with it in any way) eases you in gently.

For me. It was really understanding AWALT. Thinking about it. Meditate on it. When you fully understand AWALT, you realize it is just how women are. You stop expecting them to be any different. It is like being mad at birds for crapping on your car when you park under the tree for the 20th time. It is the same as getting mad at a snake for biting you when you pick it up and try to pet it. You stop hoping this one is different or that you can find a unicorn that will complete you. You can't get mad at a snake for being a snake or a bird for being a bird or a woman for being AWALT.

Yes you were lied to all your life. Just store that with santa claus, jesus, the easter bunny and mickey mouse. Realize it was just a combination of women maximizing what they could get out of men and blue pilled simps trying to tell themselves women are the only thing that could them happy.

TL:DR Meditate on how things really are and realize you were not wronged and are not being wronged. Realize how things really are and adjust to that reality.

This is why I enjoy coming to this sub. I see questions I’ve had to answer and work through. It took me lots of effort to conquer my demons. There are still a ton within me but I’ve been able to move past the most detrimental. Maybe some insight might help you on your path.

After seeing your post I went through a video on rage. I’ve gone through it many times but this time it answered a question for myself that had come up. One quote which struck me hard was, “How can you expect compassion from a man that was never shown any?”

In my issue I have two younger brothers who are going through a anger phase. They are so mad at the world they just need people to hurt. I’ve excused myself from the situation, before I would have jumped into the fight they were trying to pick but now I see the emotional response they are trying to get from me.

Here’s what I’m getting at, should I show compassion and open myself up and offer help? They could just shit on my offer or allow them to try and recover from this. And then Maybe they could come to me for help? Mgtow teaches to live and let live, not you. Your asking for help, maybe you could show compassion for yourself and really accept your life. Start taking 1000 mg of ashgawanda root and fenugreek extract. It’s drops your cortisol levels in essence your stress level is negligible. On the plus side enhances your testosterone levels.

Anger is best released on Sith Lords who have formerly severed one of your hands (e.g. Darth Vader, Count Dooku etc.).

Is all of that anger doing anything positive for you? Are you going to make any change, or any great social change as a result of it? Will you take any positive action based on it? It's a simple calculation. Allow yourself momentary upset, then move on. It will take practice, but once you work it out in your head that you are helping no one and harming yourself its easier to become apathetic. DO NOT BOTTLE IT UP. If you have no other option find a secluded room and scream it out.

Teach yourself music. Learn to read and write it. Its a healthy way to express yourself creatively. Punching a heavy bag and lifting helps with the physical side too.

One big thing, if you can't change it, let it go. Seriously. It will vastly improve your life. For some times when you just need to get it out, I will yell in the car. Going to the gym is my daily therapy for everything.
