You get a mixed bag here, which does include Red Pill and MRA content. Personally, I like to see the post of guys enjoying their freedom and helping other men find it as well, however, by default all MGTOW will need to understand the basics of Red Pill content. You need to see how a trap works to know how avoid it.

Tend to agree with OP.

It is disconcerting to see guys ripping shit on women and generally acting the asshole by any metric.

For my money, I'm a bit of a purist. Man going my own way. I've had relationships go so fucking south it is not funny, but I was there, I have responsibility in things too - but I have no ill-will towards women. I just don't fucking care. They can do whatever makes them happy, just leave me the fuck out of it.
