Meh, just sabre rattling. Those that lived through the cold war and the constant threat of nuclear annihilation on a daily basis have seen it all before.
The thing that does worry me though is the unholy trinity of three females with feminist tendencies being in control of very powerful nations.

Angela Merkel in Germany
Theresa May in the U.K
Hillary Clinton in the USA

That should worry every man.

I believe this can go 2 different ways. The west and Russia stay out of Middle East affairs and let them destroy each other or we can all pick sides and turn this into a WW3. The lines are so blurry that it is impossible to know the difference between the rebels, Islamic State, Assad Regime, militias, etc. and for this reason I like what Putin is doing - siding with Assad to take out Islamic State fighters.

I honestly don't even care anymore. I have 6 months left in the Army and after I get out I'll be going to school without the fear of being drafted into the Clintons' next conflict. I've got a rifle, shotgun, and 2 handguns to take care of any personal protection I will need in the coming turmoil. I'm done "defending" this nation that appears to be heading down the wrong path.

If there is a WW3 it will be over severe resource restrictions of some kind, water...energy...food. Maybe even some sort of national panic if a terrorist nation ever manages to detonate a nuke and shit escalates wildly because people are really fucking stupid. But not nonsense political bullshit like what's going on with Russia. Russia is just trying to get back some of the national identity they lost after the Soviet collapse.

There will not be a WW3 in the next century, but some smaller nations will likely nuke it out. The likeliest ones are India and Pakistan.
