Agreed that all misery comes from trusting people.

The problem is that unless you are ridiculously wealthy you have to trust to some degree to get even the basics.

But, yeah, beyond that unfortunately humans are essentially untrustworthy. And that goes for business relationships, close friends, artistic relationships , roommates, and of course women.

If you’re truly lucky you may have a handful of loyal family members and a friend you met when you were 10 who are more trustworthy than not.

I think you are being an extremist.

I believe there are levels of trust. Just don't be naive. Maybe you don't need this, but if you are in business, you will have to trust people. The trick is that you can define a degree of trust.

"I trust you so much I expect you to stab me in the back", that kind of thing

These are some red flags to me, the other person being either a man or woman:

- touching: physical contact of any kind while trying to persuade you about something

- asking "Don't you trust/love me?"

- too much attention (from girls): I usually don't give a fuck about anybody. So I kinda joke that when a chick is too clingy to me, they either want to fuck with me or get advantages in something else.

You can also use other people's trust. There is an amazing feeling when someone helps you, like a friend or a co-worker. I've had this happen in school, university, and even at some jobs. You messed up, but then have the pleasant surprise of a help

I've also seen toxic environments (bad co-workers, bad bosses). Ultimately I think that we build our own circle. And I think it's important to know the chaotic nature of humans as well as being able to forgive. We are all going to die anyway.

Rather than trusting nobody, I'm aware. Don't leave important things to other people

I don't disagree with your premise on trust but you are most likely not gonna get very far in the business world for example if you don't trust others as that is a foundation for wealth building to be part of the trust circle for upper tier society.

Nobody has mentioned but, if someone trusts you unconditionally and loves you unconditionally i think you should too: dogs.
