But in The Matrix movie, you take the red pill to leave the matrix. You take the blue pill to believe whatever you want to believe. The dudes in r/theredpill are actually blue pill men who believe they can game the system, find a unicorn, and find happiness by playing the Tinder game.
They might be aware of the truth, but choose not accept it and stay in the Matrix, that means they took the blue pill.
I get what you mean in the context of the movie, and I always saw the real world example of "taking the red pill" as "seeing the matrix but staying inside it", slightly different to the movie's red pill.
MGTOW would be the equivalent to the movie's red pill, not only do you choose to see the matrix, but you also choose to not be a part of it.

That is a large logical leap.
Even if this forum is all "hating" on women, that doesn't mean mgtow isn't about improving oneself.
Let me put it this way, if I post in a video game subreddit frequently, that doesn't mean I ONLY play video games.
I can also work, lift, volunteer, party and such during the day.
I bet the average mgtow user spends less then thirty minutes here per day "hating" women. That means mgtow men are spending atleast 23 hours and thirty minutes on other things.

Actually, I find feminists quite laughable. I enjoy laughing in their faces and, when they won't shut up, making them cry. Women are feminists by choice, not biology. It's their choice to be antagonistic and earn whatever response they garner from men. Including MGTOW. Zero fucks given about feminists in general. Humbling feminists lacking self-control is a sport to me now, in that they are just living in a fantasy world where females are males. I enjoy it and teach other MGTOW in the sport, when I have time. Ok so if I come here with problems finding a good job, or issues with motivation, and a friend says "you should go to mgtow, its a subreddit for men focused on self improvement" and then I go there and most of the posts are just "look at these nasty hoes"- wouldnt you agree the sub is indeed not focused on self improvement? It's the same way how some comedians point out the problems in society and make fun of them. It just so happens that most of our problems came from gynocentrism. MGTOW is not a movement. it's just a gathering of group(s) of men who have similar interests and views on society at large.
MGTOW is "Men Going Their Own Way"
You go your own way, which I essentially define as striving for self-actualization and internal peace with yourself and external factors.
Your way might be different than mine, and our ways are independent of this subreddit. If you wish to strive towards self-improvement, you can do so by reading books on the matter, watching youtube videos etc.. it's not limited to this sub.
